ANZAC Day
When ANZAC Day falls on a Saturday, the public holiday is observed on that day
and not transferred to the following Monday (Section 3A, Holidays Act 1910).
Volunteer's Day
On 14 February 2006 the Minister for Volunteers announced that the day for the recognition and celebration of the
achievements of South Australia's volunteers will be held on the second Monday of June coinciding with the
Queen's Birthday celebrations.
Christmas
Yes, we know Christmas is on the 25th of December.
When it falls on a Sunday,
the following Monday becomes Christmas Day Holiday. Boxing Day is generally moved as well.
