One of Australia's hottest musical exports, Wolfmother performed live at the Awards for the very first time and won Best Group, Best Rock Album and Best Breakthrough Album. Also performing was The Veronicas (Jess and Lisa), the hip-hop act Hilltop Hoods, Human Nature, Eskimo Joe, Silverchair as well as other favourite Aussie groups. Presenters included Rove McManus, Guy Sebastian, Hamish and Andy, Johnny Knoxville, and others.
